Visit Vatican City, the heart of the Catholic Church. Explore St. Peter’s Square and visit St. Peter’s Basilica, subject to opening arrangements and religious services. The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel may be arranged with advance reservations as an optional or included visit. Overnight in Rome.

Discover Rome’s major Christian landmarks, including the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Archbasilica of the Most Holy Savior and the Cathedral of Rome, and the Basilica of St. Mary Major. Continue to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, subject to opening hours. Overnight in Rome.

Breakfast
Explore the historic centre of Rome and learn about the early Christian community. Visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum area from the exterior or with pre-booked entry, depending on the group’s interests. Continue to the Trevi Fountain and other historic landmarks. Optional visit to the Catacombs of Rome, subject to availability. Overnight in Rome.
Day05
Breakfast
Travel by coach to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, including its remarkable frescoes, subject to visitor regulations and religious activities. Explore the medieval town and other sites associated with St. Clare. Overnight in Assisi or the surrounding area.
Day06
Breakfast
Continue exploring Assisi, including the Basilica of St. Clare and the historic town centre. Depending on availability, visit the Sanctuary of the Spoliation, associated with Blessed Carlo Acutis. Return by coach to Rome. Overnight in Rome.
Day07
Breakfast
Visit additional religious landmarks or enjoy free time for personal prayer, shopping and independent exploration. If the schedule coincides with a papal audience or a major liturgical celebration, participation may be requested in advance, subject to the Vatican’s calendar and ticket arrangements. Overnight in Rome.

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport for departure. End of services.
